Why I do this!

I have been awake since 4am today. Thinking about a million things, spiralling, settling myself and then doing it all over again. So instead of lying in bed trying to reason with my own self,  I decided to sit down and do some work. There is something I have been meaning to share with you for a few days and this seemed like a great opportunity to do so!

Someone recently asked me “why do you do this?’ and by this they meant The GoodSnack. She proceeded to ask me, how I have the patience and the energy to deal with all the subscribers different needs, and preferences and keeping children and parents happy….and she went on and on and on. On my way home however I must admit I had to really think about our conversation. This lady had pretty valid points. For a moment I questioned this entire operation! But as quickly as I allowed myself to question it,  I received a text message on my phone. It was one of our subscribers sending me a video of her children thanking The GoodSnack and showed the children playing around with their collection of Fri-Yay gifts.

The following day, I took my son to a birthday party. As I was having my coffee, the sweetest girl came up to me, smiled and said “Thank you for my GoodSnack”. I felt  humbled but mostly I felt grateful and vindicated. I wanted to call that lady from a week ago and tell her “That’s why I do this!”

The GoodSnack is exactly that. TheGoodSnack is not just a snackbox that gets delivered to your door daily and that’s it. The GoodSnack is a platform that grows, just like our subscribers. We are building a community firstly for the love of snacks, but also for the love of inclusion. We do cater to almost every need because we are all different. We are seriously invested in making each box the perfect box for our subscribers.  We do strive to keep all our subscribers happy because we value each and every one of you and the diversity of our ever growing community.

So if someone ever questions you, or the reason behind why you do things with a passion remember one of my favourite writers of all times Khalil Gibran said “Rest in reason; move in passion”

Have a great week ahead everyone, and remember we are always here for you 🙂
